New construction of a 95,000 square foot nursing home on a 22-acre tract of land. Doyle Electric utilized prefabrication throughout the 171-room facility, focusing particularly on efforts to accelerate the interior rough-in aspects of the project. We built a complete mock-up of a typical room at our off-site prefabrication shop and coordinated with the owner, A/E team, general contractor, and other trades to confirm in-wall routing and mounting locations. Hospital grade MC cable circuits were cut to length, extending to a home run junction box above the bedroom door, and assembled with devices already installed. This prefabrication application allowed us to minimize job site waste, manage project safety, and accelerate the construction schedule. The project was on pace to be completed 2.5 months ahead of schedule prior to the historic flooding of August 2016.
Harvest Manor also includes three (3) 450 kW generators, complete nurse call, patient wandering, and fire alarm systems, and extensive site lighting.
